Remember Hiroshima and Nagasaki? Sure the Atomic Bombings … What About Them? It should have been Hiroshima and Kokura! Poor Nagasaki!

Several years ago I was zapping the TV and stopped over Nat Geo to see what they are airing, it was the last episode of Apocalypse: World War II. Gosh, finally this documentary will end; I am fed up with the horrific pictures and videos about the unfortunate people dying over a period of 6 years for the stupidest reasons ever!

And to make it worse after the second break they started talking about the hours preceding the Hiroshima and Nagasaki’s Bombarding while the commander and the pilots on those missions was giving their testimonials. Believe me even watching this was very terrifying…

America has warned the Japanese to surrender after the fall of Germany but they refused. Thus on August 6th, 1945 the 1st uranium atomic bomb called the “Little Boy” was dropped over Hiroshima by the US Aviation force. Even though they saw the tragic damage of the bomb the Japanese refused to surrender to the Allies. Why not you bastards…did you lose your mind!

Consequently, the Americans have scheduled the second bombing for August 11th to be thrown over Kokura. Due to bad weather forecast the mission was drifted 2 days backwards! So, on August 9th, 1945 early in the morning they started their mission but after the scout air-crafts reported that it would be fuel consuming to reach Kokura with the heavy bomb load and due to bad weather conditions they finally decided to drop the plutonium atomic bomb called “fat Man” over Nagasaki at 11 am!

Definitely all our prayers for the souls of all the lates who passed away during this incidence but it’s funny to know that millions of people’s lives were saved while other millions were taken only because of changes in the weather conditions and some fuel inconveniences!
